All bookings are to be paid on arrival, if payment is to be made by cheque it should be presented no later than 14 days prior to arrival.
A £40 minimum deposit is to be taken for all email and telephone bookings, online bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of the individual booking agent.
One night stays must be paid in full at time of booking.
In the event of cancellation or curtailment deposits are non-refundable. In the case of a no show, or cancellation up to 48 hours prior to scheduled arrival, the person who booked shall be liable for the full balance of the booking.
The proprietors reserve the right to amend, curtail, or terminate any contract, should the conduct of any person who is a part of said contract cause any detriment to the well being and/or comfort of other guests or staff.
Breakfast is served at 9:00, and evening meals at 17:00. No allowances or refunds will be made for meals not taken.
Rooms should be ready by 14:00 on day of arrival. Earlier check ins may be available, please email or telephone at least 48 hours prior to arrival for details. Luggage may be deposited on the premises, and cars parked (subject to pre-booking) earlier than the arrival time.
Rooms must be vacated by 10:00 on the day of departure. A £10 late checkout fee may be deducted from your account for not adhering to this.
Please be aware that when booking your hotel you are entering a legally binding contract, and it is recommended that you take out holiday insurance cover.
The Valdene Hotel offers limited car parking, which must be reserved prior to your arrival. Please request this at the time of your booking. Please be aware that the car parking is reserved for your day of arrival, we cannot guarantee that if you take your car out during your stay there will be parking available on your return. Blackpool offers excellent tram, bus, train and taxi services, which the Valdene Hotel recommends you use during your stay.
Please be aware that the Valdene Hotel cannot accept liabilty for any loss, damage or injury caused by vehicles parking in this area, however caused.
The Valdene hotel offers the free hire of bicycles to its guests. Please be aware that it is not permitted to loan these bicycles to anyone not staying at the Valdene Hotel. In our experience, bikes do not sustain chargeable damage through normal use. If guests decide to treat them disrespectfully and as “hire bikes” then this is most likely where such charges will have to be met. Please remember that our complimentary bikes are free, but we would expect them to be treated with extra care. The Bike must be returned in the same condition as at handover. You must meet the costs of any damage sustained to the bike whilst in your care, before departure. You are responsible for any loss or damage to the bicycles whilst in your care.
Please be aware that locks or chains are not loaned out. The bicycles are intended for you to enjoy the 7 miles+ of bicycle lanes recently designed and built along the Blackpool prom. They are not loaned as a use for transport during your stay.
Bicycles must be returned no later than 18:00 on the day they were loaned. Any extension to this must be agreed prior to hire.
Cycle helmets and other safety equipment are not loaned out by the Valdene hotel. If you wish to use such equipment then please bring it with you.
The Valdene Hotel also offers free wheelchair and mobility scooter hire. Pre-booking is essential to avoid disappointment. As with our bicycle hire, we expect your care and consideration when using our equipment. A charge of £100 will be owed for loss or damage to our equipment whilst in your care. Bikes, Wheelchairs and Scooters must not be left unattended at any time.
The Valdene Hotel is 100% non smoking, and do not allow pets.
